I'm happy
to report I made the first flight of N516TB on Labor Day 9/4/06.
I completed the MiniMax 1600R over a 5 1/2 year period investing
1089 building hours. A good friend says "the fun is in the
building", he is right, although after flying the plane for
15 hours over the last 5 weeks I have found the flying is not
bad either. The kit and plans provided by Team Aircraft were excellent
and make the building an enjoyable process. Support provided during
the building process by Ison Aircraft and subsequently JDT MiniMax
have been excellent! My plane is equipped with an oil-injected
Rotax 503 and 3-blade precision propeller.
