Dennis Vetter's Aircraft

JDT , Here's some pictures of my mini MAX. It's the third TEAM aircraft
that my brother,Larry and I have built. The first mini MAX was kit #104,1100 R, 227 rotax. Larry owns and flys #104 on a reguler basis. The second MAX was #204 1100 R, 447 rotax. Last we knew it's somewhere in Texas. The third was kit #39. The kit had been through two owners before I got it in 1992. # 39 is also a 1100, but I added the 103 deck and windshield. Power is a 1/2 VW of 917 1/2 cc. Got to have the 1/2. All three mini MAX's are finished in stits paint of the same colors. They all fly great, like all well built mini MAX,s do. One nice summer night I took off from a friends strip, climbed to 200 ft agl , pointed towards home, let go of the stick, pulled my feet off the rudder pedals, and enjoyed an 18 mile ride home. When I got near home I was less than 1/8 of a mile from the air strip. I also own and fly a Pietenpol Aircamper. The mini MAX and the Aircamper have alot of simularities, and diifferenses. Both are a lot of fun.
