What is it Like to Fly a JDT Mini-Max?
Takeoff is very rapid and requires only about 6 seconds and 100 feet of ground roll or less. JDT Mini-Max with its full span ailerons is exceptionally maneuverable and has excellent control harmony. Stalls are very gentle and slow. Power-off stalls result in a straight forward mush and high-rate of sink. Power-on stalls result in a mild break. Both are fully controllable with ailerons and rudder. Landings in a JDT Mini-Max are easy to perform because of the low airspeed and ground cushion the shoulder wing provides. One can put the airplane into very small spaces with great precision. A 200 foot ground roll is normal. Anyone with a big backyard and good approach now has their own airstrip.
