Jean-Marie Gaillard's Eros

I started building my Max in the beginning of 2004. I bought the plans from Ison Aircraft just before JDT and made everything myself except fiberglass parts as wing-tips or canopy hat and cowling. The fuselage and wings were made in the living-room, with my wife's blessing! and this during one year... I finished the Max in my workshop.
It took more than 3000 hours of work to finish it. I made my first flight at the end of may 2006. I had my pilot licence for tricycle planes but I had no experience of the tail wheel and after some bad landings, was obliged to learn on a Jodel. The rectification took time and having no shock-absorbers gave me some problems for landing at the beginning... Now, I enjoy very much my Eros which is a wonderful little plane, flying perfectly. Many thanks to John Graber for his help. I think it is better to buy the kit because I spent a lot of time cutting the wood.
