Greear's Hi-Max
I started
building N1208W about 1/1/96 and flew 5/14/96. I was obsessed with the
building of the plane. I painted it solid white because I wanted to
fly more than I wanted it to look pretty. I used Superflite fabric and
poly paint. My engine is a G 50 C Zenoah. I Zeroed it at 609 hours and
now have 670 hours on the plane. I use a Tennessee Propeller 60x38 prop
in the summer and a 60x40 in the winter. My first landing was not uneventful.
On my first flight, my left tire went flat after I went up and caused
me to make a left turn off the strip while holding full right rudder.
Didn't do any damage, just mowed some hay and almost nosed over as it
went down a bank. Pucker power was high too.....
